Edited by: Duke Droklar on 10/12/2003 04:17:04 War stats for week ending 12-7:
1 OC megathron lost in the sneak attack AFTER the SA council before the deadline (including Trigger & an SW Rep) accepted Peace.
1 OC Scorp lost in combat.
10 EV/SW BS's lost in combat (more SW than EV). I believe it was 9 Lvl 2's and 1 Lvl 1 (could've been 8/2).
(so far this week ending 12-14: 1 OC Scorp downed and 2 hostiles downed, a Scorp and a Raven)

Malikon: we had considered that however it is just the last thing you're thinking of when the heat and rush is on.
We do confirm the kills through multiple sources to ensure we're not getting double counts.
Escept for the one pilot this morning who lost a tempest and within an hour was caught again and lost another tempest. That's gotta p*** ya off.

Quote: I cant be sure about the accuracy of these numbers, but I can tell you that one more corporation against us hasnt really done much to our resolve. -[EV]Kalki
Give it some time. It's only been a week. A rough one for SA but still only a week.
Quote: Sure we cant defeat the CA at this point, but their 40+ corporations and 'the best stain had to offer' (their words) havent been able to destroy a small alliance. -[EV]Kalki
Hmm, last time I heard SA was arguably the most powerful and certainly the wealthiest. But as I said, it's only been 1 week. Give it a little time for the losses to mount.
Quote: why does it always come to blaming a bug when u reach 10% hull and hammer on the X .... -Damion
Pretty sure CCP would be able to tell from the logs they received whether it was a quit or a ctd. Next noob statement please...
Quote: its not ccp's f-k-i-n-g fault you dont watch after your damn miners. -Damion
Hmmm, watch our ships from an ally? As it was being discussed in the SA council and EV was acting as if it was a mistake our BS was ordered to stand down and break lock. He did and EV then launched their attack on him. The ship was listed with the circumstances so people can count it or not, we could care less what you think of it.

We're not the ones getting our arses handed to us.
Quote: Thing is fighting OC is like fighting a bunch of pikies. You go along in equal numbers and they are nowhere to be found. After you decide to go home, the jump out the bushes and gank one of you and then go and hide again. -[EV]Tactical Genius
Really pi$$es you off doesn't it We are taking you apart piece by piece just as promised... live with it or get out of our territory. 10-20 BS per week will have an effect on the SA no matter what they claim. The presure will only increase as time goes on.

Quote: Thalen Mort lost his 1st Raven when he was still a rogue . -Jagang
The men are mistaken about including Thalens first Raven in the official COMBAT kill count. I have been keeping the records and the 18 kills to date does not include that pre-war kill.
Quote: Katt lost her tempest cuz her computer crashed. She's ****ed now and u might have felt it . -Jagang
You know for a brief moment I almost called off the attack when we saw Katts ctd... but then my senses returned. Yes the kill is counted as it was in "combat" during WAR that it was lost. The reason I personally do not include the first EV kill (nor do I include Thalens 1st raven) in the combat kill count is because it was PRE-WAR and a sneak attack, not because it was a ctd. I recommend Katt petitiions with logs for the ctd which I will be happy to act as a witness if needed.
Quote: I have to admit u are very good at guerilla war, a quality equaled only by your ability to run and save your flaming bs . Hopefully that will change starting from monday... -Jagang
Only a fool does not retreat to save a BS. From what I've seen the upcoming changes will give us an even larger advantage. OC has always adapted to the ever changing client with new tactics being developed, tested and used to great effect. I doubt this will be any diffferent.
Quote: How many more times do we have to tell u it was not a SW shadow corp? What shadow corp? With TM being the only member in it?
As it was stated before, TM decided to brake away from us (he even deleted his account on our corp's forum) and strike out on his own.
He choose to pester Omega, that was HIS decision, not ours.
Once our goals have become the same, we asked him to join us back. He was however demoted in our corp structure for breaking the rules .
If this is true then why the "big public announcement" of the Dark Racoons "merging" with SW the day after the SW realized they had been recorded admiting Racoons were still part of SW?
Probably best to quote my original post about the SW shadow corp which SW failed to address:
Quote: #1 Did SW come to me and say "hey Drok, one of our members has went rogue and is going to attack you"... no.
#2 Did SW say to Thalen "If you go rogue and attack an ally we'll hunt you as an enemy of the alliance"... no.
#3 Did SW kick him out of their TS... no.
#4 Did SW members actively hunt him while operating against OC while their members were right there in the same system?... no.
SW can try and claim that he was just a rogue but i think their lack of proper actions on this matter which all occured BEFORE any friction between OC and the SA occured clearly proves that this was in fact a shadow corp working with a wink and a nod from SW.
Some of the more interesting statements by SW in their cover up merger post:
Quote: We are glad to Have Dark Racoons On Board. In our currnet situation The Racoons are welcome. Some members of Racoon had a conflict of intrest with Solarwinds Ideals in the past, but now we have a common foe. -[SW ceo]Napalm
all plural including the "members". Either there were in fact more involved OR he is simply lying... which is it???
Quote: Thalen Left us over 3 weeks ago and we are glad to have him and the other members on side -[SW ceo]Napalm
Again which is it? More involved or MORE SW LIES???
Quote: I left solar wind knowing I could not do this as part of stain. -[SW] Thalen
And yet SW did absolutley nothing to act, not even as much as come to me to discuss the matter when they admittedly KNEW his attacks were coming. No, of course they wouldn't as they completely approved of this shadow corp which their lack of actions from the start has clearly shown.
You can deny it all you want however if an OC member had went "rogue" against an ally, I can assure you that we would have hunted him like a dog.

Wow, this thread has grown quite a bit since I last viewed it.
Thalen: So, you failed to see that what you were doing would give the appearance that SW was fielding a shadow corp against OC? We of course would be "in the wrong" to draw such a natural conclusion about this and desire to respond in kind? Napalm himself said that they knew of your plans when you broke off... not weeks later. So why then would they not take the appropriate actions as I asked in my earlier statements regarding this matter?
Quote: Could Solar Wind/the rest of SA post BB kills so we have some idea of the damage you are doing? -Malikon
Let me put it to you this way, we refer to bbs as bic lighters. We would lose more isk if a basic indy filled with trit was lost. Btw, we dont count ibis's lost either.
Quote: So you also refute that oc was complaining SW was taking no part in the war effort against CA as well? -[SW] Thalen
No, we were complaining about MANY SA corps whos great contribution was 1-2 men fighting sporadically. It's not anywhere near the level of contribution that OC was making in the war effort... not even in the same ballpark. Yet these same corps felt they deserved "equality" at the expense of OC territory. I still stand by these words 100%.
Quote: And you say that OC never asked no OC corps to vacate their systems? -[SW]Thalen
There were a couple incidents that i'm aware fof where OC was sponsoring mining ops within a system in our territory. As the SA council confirmed to SW Napalm when he brought the issue up "any SA corp can ask people to vacate their system when they are mining it." One should remember you're a guest hunting in their territory and if they need it you should leave graciously.
Quote: Oh, I thought you didn't mention them because it made it look like you were taking no losses. Silly me. -[SW]Thalen
It is rather silly of you. Math is power...
Quote: I recently heard the tapes. I heard things such as "I want SW head on a platter etc." sounds pretty hostile to me? N'est pas? -[SW]Thalen
I believe anyone would draw the same conclusions about SW fielding a shadow corp against us. Add to that SW backing the stripping of OC territory with all the history between our corps and I think anyone would be "hostile" and consider you traitors.
Quote: Centuri, all in all, I think we've destroyed about 10 bb, maybe more. The mineral cost is around 2M per piece. Not to mention the gear on them. [SW]Jagang
Please excuse me if I belly laugh...
Quote: [ 2003.11.23 23:00:26 ] Jagang > yes? [ 2003.11.23 23:00:37 ] Dreez > OC OP going in DK6... please leave system [ 2003.11.23 23:00:47 ] Jagang > yeah, I know [ 2003.11.23 23:00:55 ] Jagang > I just finished gathering my cans [ 2003.11.23 23:01:02 ] Jagang > one word though [ 2003.11.23 23:01:08 ] Dreez > Dont engage the NPCs [ 2003.11.23 23:01:10 ] Jagang > u don't mine all belts at once, do u? OC methods of mining require certain things to make them more effective. Obviously you are not aware of these things or this request would not be viewed as "unusual".
Quote: Saying "only Battleship kills count cause BB losses are insignificant" and then only flying around in Blackbirds is one way of 'winning' for sure -Mr Blonde
And you're there on the front line to see this bb only OC fleet? We field a mix of BBs and BS's as the game was intended. Funny how support vessels might actually play a valuable role in warfare. Maybe they should hire us to configure their fleets for them... nah, they need all the isk they can get to replace BS's.
Yes, news spreads fast. The 3rd OC Scorp combat loss was today. The last couple days have seen many small skirmishes between OC and SW forces... good fights gentlemen.
EV is strangely absent for 2 days now. Far from the statement: "EV will protect the SA from this threat" [EV]Civ spouted. I was wondering who would protect EV... must be concord.

EV can hardly be found anywhere in Stain. We know, we are scouting far and wide looking for you. The main time we see EV members are when they are huddled with other SA corps that we are not actively engaging, but even that is rare these days.
C4 dominates about 75% of the day/night hours actively hunting any who have initiated hostilities. Of course when there's no enemies around to hunt we go about our business as usual. I grant you that about 25% of the time JOINT SA forces have tactical control but nobody claimed that C4 would immediately control 24/7. In fact I clearly stated that control would be back and forth.
SA prefers to line up all the soldiers in two opposing lines with muskets firing. Sorry if we don't fight that way against an opponent that has more assets at their disposal. There's a reason no other corp has been able to combat the SA... tactics.
We were betrayed and attacked. We will not roll over and we will give those that attack us the fight of their corps lives. We will hit them when they least expect it, vanishing as quickly as we appeared. We will deny them the peace that they threw away when they started this war.

Lol, seriously, when did you start doing this? Yesterday was the first time I saw one of your battlefleets past RPS. (I want to emphasize FLEET, not 1 or 2 guys ussually in blackbirds wandering around)
Since when does it take a fleet to scout out Stain? We roam stain nearly as freely as ever and have encountered many of the SA corps ops, but not EV. We could have raided these same corps but chose not to do so since they had not violated our border or attacked us.

Joshua, you really need to get your facts straight. EV lost a large number of BS's to OC in the first couple days of the war and pulled out leaving SW and the others to fight. The numbers are accurate, however I don't find it strange that a corp with their heads under a rock would not know the score.
As for agent missions, what a noob, look in 0.0 on the map and you'll see that it's nearly a ghostland everywhere. Seems nearly everyone has vacated 0.0 I'm sure as soon as everyone gets their fill of agent missions your arse whoopin will resume... if you can be found that is.

Which of our pilots was this? Are you sure you're not confusing Omega Corp and Black Omega Security? Have not had the opportunity to speak with every combat pilot today so I could have missed someone.
BTW, with the current score at 22-4 BS kills OC favor, i'd say an ev/sa victory is highly debatable. Time will tell...

Quote: I may be mistaken, but I believe that neither OC or Evol have fired a shot at eachother since OC surrendered to TAOSP during the beta war. -[Evol]Maiwenn LeBesco
Correction, OC NEVER surrendered to taosp. We fought an RP battle with them over "imaginary" CONTROL of a station (wasn't a player built). OC took the defensive role while taosp took the offensive role.
It raged for 3 days where OC handed taosp 3-1 / 5-1 losses OC favor. They would make assaults and we would repell them. The 2nd day they began using invulnerability exploits for their scouts. (there were screenies at the time givern to ccp). Having the ability to constantly report your enemies exact positions and strengths cannot be called a small advantage.
On the third day taosp suddenly had a large fleet of ships staged within the very station we were defending. After a few hours of battle against what we perceived as no less than an overwhelming exploit we decided to concede CONTROL of the station to taosp.
No surrender was ever posted or given verbally. We did publically concede control of that station to taosp on the 3rd day but it certainly was not a corp surrender nor made to sound as such. Taosp was never a threat to the wellbeing of OC but there's not much sense in continuing and RP battle for control of a station that meant nothing if they couldn't at least fight the battle honestly.

[Evol]Maiwenn LeBesco: I can see the taosp IQ has not raised any since beta. Thought 14 might bring a bit more maturity. BTW, we had screenshots and it was undeniable, so spew all the crap you want.
Molle: You were a smack talking clown in beta and I see nothing has changed. The public post stated very clearly that we conceded control of the station... simple as that. If you recall, we all chatted in that thread about possibly sponsoring more events in the future.
As far as your threats go, we're all a quiver with anticipation. Been here longer than taosp and we'll be here long after you're gone. So save your "whacking" for what you whack best.
So, lets see how this goes. Evol states they are going after OC for "personal" reasons. Then weeks later they get offended by facts and now they are going after us "for reals this time".

Trigger: MASS members were initiating hostilities towards an OC member. When that occured an officer made the field decision MASS was officially hostile and proceeded to KOS any MASS encountered.
If I had been online at that time I may have attempted to contact you to discuss the incident but I may have had the same gut reaction as that officer... hind sight is 20/20 so it's hard to say. It had been our goal to remain friends with MASS. Regretfully this current situation cannot be undone as MASS has already been engaged multiple times and indies have been destroyed. I will personally remember working closely with MASS and you will always have my respect... even in war.
C4 & the CA At this time we are not working directly with the CA. We have common enemies and the CA has earned our respect over the past couple months. I personally believe very strongly that CA has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that regardless of what the history of certain member corps may have been that they are not pirates and are a legitmate alliance as any.
Any official relations between our alliances will be announced publically as we have nothing to fear nor hide.

Squirrel: I believe the total bb's lost was 7 but who realy cares, call it 10 for all it matters. We took down an [SW]Arma and no less than a dozen indies packed with rare ores. Mark my words, in a month or so Solar Wind will be returned to how we found them in early beta... 4-5 guys going nowhere fast.
Also, let it be known that we will not except the bribes offered by SA pilots "to leave them alone". I simply advise you to evaluate your membership in your corp and seek a corp that isn't foolish enough to betray Omega Corp.

Actually Squirt we have plenty of BS's but why send BS's when SA goes down to cruisers and frigs just fine? Heh, you're just angry because we slaughter so many SA BS's while you can only nail a few cruisers or frigs... must be so aggravating for you.
With the losses SA is suffering from CA on the outside and OC & OTA on the inside, SA is going down. SA members KNOW they are not safe anywhere. They KNOW the SA cannot protect them even on their home turf and they KNOW they are fighting a lost cause.

Quote: Duke,
You live in 0.0 space?
Which region would that be? It certainly can't be Stain. -[EV]Josh
EV ran from our territory IN stain after 3 days of suffering unanswered BS losses. Since we've been raiding all throughout Stain since the war was declared you must truly be blind.
War IS life to Omega Corp. Everything we have ever done is for the sole purpose of furthering our military capability. Around 90% of our corp activity are military operations and thus you may find it difficult to encounter OC outside of a military setting.
We have many fully equiped bases staged throughout 0.0 so while less aware opponents may think we are "shutdown" due to them camping one base, we are striking from another base in a completely different area.
This is why SA never understood our statements that we have allocated billions on staging military bases. They also failed to understand that we can wage a war for months with absolutely no income over that period.
Quote: At the time we had reports that well over half your corp was working the agents. Alts... Mains... It matters not, we will take you in whatever fashion you decide to show yourselves in, with whatever ships you decide to fly with. -[Evol]Mordessa
Then why is it that when we were operating daily out of lower stain that Evol didnt bother coming to fight us there? Since Shrike was promptly destroyed there, can't exactly claim you didnt know where we were.
